; Additional NotesGrowing on soil, under oak trees (Quercus robur). Brown, hygrophanous cap with darker edge, light and then darker centre. White veil. White fibrillose stem. Largest (mature) fruitbody was measured: Cap diameter 26 mm. Stem 48 x 5 mm. Spores 7.25 – 8 x 4.5 – 4.75 um, cylindric-ellipsoid, weakly warted. Following barcoding, Yvonne Mynett re-examined all three of the fruiting bodies, confirming fibrillose veil, spores 7- 8 x 4 - 4.5 (oil immersion), clamps in the stem hyphae & cheilocystidia (but was unsure they all had pleurocystidia).
