; Additional NotesApprox 6 specimens found growing with alder in damp conditions. Largest fruiting body had a cap radius of 6/7cm., but was decomposing. Two smaller specimens collected, the stipe on one being lost unfortunately. Cap 4cm diameter, red, cracking at margin revealing yellow flesh. Tubes bright yellow, bruising blue. Stem 4cm long, yellow at top with red floccules at base. Flesh blued very strongly when handled / cut. Whilst drying, the kitchen paper on which the specimens were placed stained yellow with blue edges.
