Gills fairly distant. Stem brown with white veil, with white base, chunky in largest specimen, 35 x 8 mm. Smell earthy, perhaps slightly oily. KOH on stem flesh dark brown. Spores 9-10 x 6-7 um. ITS sequence too short to submit to Genbank.
