; Additional NotesThis collection is labelled (incorrectly?) in the Kew Fungarium as Pleospora aquatica Tretiach & Nimis 1999 which is regarded by Species Fungorum as a synonym of Pleospora tretiachii. Neither taxa exist on the UKSI (as at June 2025). Pleospora aquatica Tretiach & Nimis 1999 is a lichenicolous fungus and described 43 years after this collection was made. We conclude that this collection is more likely to be Pleospora aquatica Griffiths 1899 which does exist on the UKSI.
