; Additional NotesBrian Douglas (23rd July 2022 NFSG Facebook page): This is rather lovely! A google for Aecidium suaedae (a synonym for U. chenopodii) will give you a few comparable photos. The aecia (which these should be) and uredia form on leaves, the telia also (or primarily, I'm not sure) on stems. The preferred name should be Uromyces chenopodii-fruticosi as of 2020 (https://tinyurl.com/mrx9rjx8). Ted Ellis recorded this from a number of sites around Norfolk though it looks like it's been mostly overlooked since based on available records? It would be good to put some photos online from a microscopically confirmed specimen to help future ID of this, though it does match the protologue description of A. suaedae and the description of U. chenopodii in Klenke and Scholler 2015.
